An ordinance regulating the speed and movement of railroad trains
within the limits of the Town of Tukwila.
Ordinance 19 was amended or repealed by the
following ordinances.

An Ordinance regulating the speed and movement of railroad trains
within the limits of the Town of Tukwila.
Be it ordained by the Council of the Town of Tukwila
Section 1 It shall be unlawful for any person in authority
having control of the running or drawing of any car or train of
cars by any steam engine electric engine or electric motor car
electric motor car alone within the limits of the Town of Tukwila
to allow or permit the same to go or move at a greater rate of speed
than 8 miles per hour within the limits of said Town of
tukwila and anyone found guilty of any violation of this section
shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $100.00 or imprisonment in the
Town Jail not exceeding 30 days
SECTIion 2. Every person in authority control of the
running or drawing of any car by any atean engine,electric engineer
electric muter car•,or the control of running of any steam engine,
electric engine or electric moter car aiono,withir_ the limits of the WOW
Town of Tukwila shall fail to ring the bell co sound the whistle upon
such steam engine,electric engine or electric meter car, or cause the
same to be rung or sounded at least four hundred (400) feat from any
place where such railway crosses a traveled street within the limits of
the Town of Tukwila,or to continue the ringing of such bell or sounding
of such whistle until' such locamotive,electric engine or electric meter
car shall have crossed such street,shall be fined in any sum not exceed
ing("100) one hundred dollars„ or imprisoned in the Town jail not exceed-
ing thirty (39) days
.
SECTIOn 3, It shall be unlawful for any person in authority,
having control of the running or drawing of any car_or train of cars,
or any steam engine,electric engine electric muter car, or the control
or running of any steam engine,electric engine, or electric mater car
alone within the limits of the Town of Tukwila to allow or permit the
same to be pass by another steam engine,electric engine or electric meter
car,at any regular stoping place within 100ft, in eather dieections
of such regular stoping _lace and any one found guilty of the violation
of this section shall be fined in any sum not exceeding one hundred (100.
dollars., or imprisoned in the Town jail not exceeding Thirty (30) days,
SECTION IV. This ordinance shall take effect on and after five
(5) days from the date of its publication.
Passed by the Town Council of the Town of Tukwila this
9th day of November 1909
