AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY' OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, ADOPTING THE BIENNIAL BUDGET OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA FOR THE 2013.. 2014 BIENNIUM; (PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Se AMENDED ion(s) Amend ►d, A lends d by Ord # 2426 2457 Repealed by Ord # City of Tukwila Washington Ordinance No. 2389 ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, ADOPTING THE BIENNIAL BUDGET OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA FOR THE 2013- 2014 BIENNIUM; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the preliminary budget of the City of Tukwila for the 2013 -2014 biennium was submitted to the City Council in a timely manner for their review; and WHEREAS, a Public Hearing on the proposed budget was advertised and held on November 26, 2012; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, HEREBY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City Council hereby adopts the document entitled "City of Tukwila 2013 -2014 Budget," incorporated by this reference as if fully set forth herein, in accordance with RCW 35A.34.120. Section 2. Corrections by City Clerk or Code Reviser. Upon approval of the City Attorney, the City Clerk and the code reviser are authorized to make necessary corrections to this ordinance, including the correction of clerical errors; references to other local, state or federal laws, codes, rules, or regulations; or ordinance numbering and section /subsection numbering. Section 5. Severability. If any section, subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance or its application to any person or situation should be held to be invalid or unconstitutional for any reason by a court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity or unconstitutionality shall not affect the validity or constitutionality of the remaining portions of this ordinance or its application to any other person or situation. Section 6. Effective Date. This ordinance or a summary thereof shall be published in the official newspaper of the City, and shall take effect and be in full force five days after passage and publication as provided by law. Ordinance 2390: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, RELATING TO CONTRACTING INDEBTEDNESS; PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE, SALE AND DELIVERY OF NOT TO EXCEED $1,100,000 AGGREGATE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF LIMITED TAX GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS TO PROVIDE FUNDS NECESSARY TO UNDERTAKE CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS TO THE POOL AND RELATED FACILITIES OWNED BY THE TUKWILA METROPOLITAN PARK DISTRICT, AND TO PAY THE COSTS OF ISSUANCE AND SALE OF THE BONDS; FIXING OR SETTING PARAMETERS WITH RESPECT TO CERTAIN TERMS AND COVENANTS OF THE BONDS; APPOINTING THE CITY'S DESIGNATED REPRESENTATIVE TO APPROVE THE FINAL TERMS OF THE SALE OF THE BONDS; AND PROVIDING FOR OTHER RELATED MATTERS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
