REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
STRUCTURAL PLAN REVIEW SERVICES
Due Thursday, January 3, 2013 by 5:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST)
The City of Tukwila is seeking statements of qualifications for structural plan review
services. The plan review will focus on the structural provisions of the International
Building Code, 2012 Edition and State amendments.
The plan review services for a building permit application will be treated as an individual
project. The consultant will invoice the City separately for each project in accordance
with the approved compensation schedule.
Statements of Qualifications must be no more than thirty (30) pages in length and shall
include the following information:
Summaries of the qualifications for key staff who would be assigned to the projects.
A list of projects for which plan review services were conducted for other
jurisdictions together with contacts at those agencies.
Additional services related to plan review.
A statement of the general liability and professional liability insurance that is
maintained by the consultant.
A method of compensation for services.
Two (2) copies of the statement of qualifications whether mailed or hand delivered must
arrive at the address below no later than 5:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on
Thursday, January 3, 2013. No submittals will be accepted after that date and time.
The City will not be liable for delays in delivery of responses due to handling by the US
Postal Service or any other type of delivery service. Faxed or emailed submittals shall
be rejected.
