RESOLUTION NO 333
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EMPLOYMENT OF AN
ENGINEER TO DESIGN AN INTERTIE WITH
WATER D] 75 TO PROVIDE WATER STORAGE
CAPACITY AS REQUIRED BY CITY OF SEATTLE
WATER DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS,. The City Council finds that the appointment
of a full --time city engineer is unnecessary and in accordance
with RCW 35.24.020 has, in lieu of such appointment provided for
the performance of necessary engineering services on a part- -time,
temporary or periodic basis, and
WHEREAS It is necessary that an engineer be employed to
design an intertie with Water District 75 to provide water storage
capacity as required by the City of Seattle Water Department,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TURWILA,
WASHINGTON, RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
That Phil Botch, a qualified engineer, be employed by
the City of Tukwila on reasonable terms to provide engineering
services necessary to design an intertie with the Tukwila Water
System and Water District 75 to provide necessary water storage
capacity as required by the City of Seattle Water Department.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL Of the City of Tukwila,
Washington, and approved by the Mayor this 5th day of March, 1973.
