RESOLUTION NO. 336
R1SOLUTION SEGREGATING SPECIAL ASSESSMENT ON
PROPERTY IN E.T.D. NO. 16, O1TIJED BY LOS ANGELES-
SEATTLI: MOTOR EXPRESS, INC., AND TRANSFERRED TO
JAMES A. AND MARILYN V. SJOLUND, PING COUNTY AND
T.I.M.E. D.C., INC.
WHEREAS, Certain property in L.I.D. No. 16, which had
been specially assessed for local improvements at a time when it
was owned by Los Angeles- Seattle Motor Express, Inc., has now been
transferred to T.I.M.E. D.C., Inc., to Jaynes A. and Marilyn V.
Sjolund, and to King County, and
WHEREAS, Under the provisions of RCW 35.44.410 the City
Council has the power to order a segregation of the assessment,
and
WHEREAS, The property was originally assessed on September 1,
1970, in the amount of $13,092.59, and
WHEREAS, The property has been divided by sale and an
L.I.D. Segregation Certificate has been prepared by Bland P. Carter,
professional engineer, a copy of which is attached hereto and in-
corporated herein by reference, and
WHEREAS, Said L.I.D. Segregation Certificate contains the
original description and a new description of each of the three
portions of the original property and indicates that the entire
amount of the assessment due in the amount of $13,092.59 will be
paid by T.I.ri.E. D.C., Inc., and be an assessment against property
described on page 7 of said L.I.D. Segregation Certificate, and
that property owned by James A. and Marilyn V. Sjolund, the legal
description of which is set forth in pages 1 through 2 of said
L.I.D. Segregation Certificate shall he free and clear of any
assessment, and property now held by King County, legally de-
scribed on pages 3 through 6 of said Certificate shall likewise

be free and clear of any assessment,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUY.WILA,
I^1ASIIINGTON, RESOLVI: AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Treasurer of the City of Tukwila be and
she is hereby directed to make the segregation contained in the
L.I.D. Segregation Certificate, consisting of 7 pages, prepared
by B.and P. Carter, dated January 12, 1973, said segregation to
be entered upon the original assessment rolls.
