REPEALED BY 569
AN ORDINANCE relating to and regulating the establishment
and maintainence within the Town of Tukwila of cards or colonies
for the care, maintenance or open air treatment of persons afflicted
with pulmonary tuberculosis, and providin a penalty for violation.
Be it Ordained by the Council of
the Town of Tukwila:
Settion 1. That it shall be unlawful for any person, organi-
zation or corporation to establish or maintain with the Town of
Tukwila any camp or colony for the care, maintenance or open air
treatment of persons afflicted with pulmonary tuberculosis within one
thousand (1000) feet of any residence or within such distance of any
other camp or colony; provided, however, that a person may for him-
self or members of his family, or others depebdent upon him for sup-
port, maintain a tent or structure for such purposes upon his own
premises; and provided, further, that in no event shall it be lawful
to maintain to exceed eight (8) tents or structures for the treat-
ment of such disease contiguous to each other or to treat or care
for to exceed eight (8) persons in any such camp or colony, and no
permit shall be granted for the establishment or Maintenance of any
such camp or colony for a period of more than six (6) months at a
time.
Section 2. Every camp or colony established under the
provisions of this ordinance shall be inspected at least once every
week by the Board of Health of the Town of Tukwila and every such
camp or colony shall be under the supervision of the Board of
Health and maintained in such manner as not to endanger the health
of the Town of Tukwila insofar as it is possible to do so.

Any person found guilty of violation of the
ordinance shall be fined in any sum not exceeding
dollars or imprisoned in the city jail for a
thirty (30) days, or may be both fined and
