RESOLUTION NO. 343
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TIIE CITY OF TUKWILA,
ACTING TIIROUGII THE MAYOR, TO CONTRACT WITH
VAL VUE SEWER DISTRICT FOR DEVELOPMENT OF
A SEWAGE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL SYSTEM IN
THE McMICKEN HEIGHTS AREA.
WHEREAS The public health, welfare and safety of the
residents of the City of Tukwila require the development of an
adequate system of sewage collection and disposal in the
McMicken Ileights area, and
WIIEREAS The most economically feasible method of
obtaining these facilities is by contract with the Val Vue Sewer
District,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Mayor of the City of Tukwila,
Frank Todd, be and he is hereby authorized to negotiate a con-
tract with Val Vue Sewer District for construction of a sewage
collection and disposal system.
Section 2. That any agreement so negotiated shall be
of no force or effect until ratified by a majority vote of the
Tukwila City Council.
PASSED By the City Council of the City of Tukwila,
Washington, and approved by the Mayor, this 7th day of May 1973.
