RESOLUTION NO 344
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, DECLARING ITS INTENTION
TO IMPROVE A PART OF THE CITY BY CONSTRUCTING
AND INSTALLING A SYSTEM OF 8 AND 12-INCII SEWER
LINES, AND TO CREATE A LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DIST-
RICT TO ASSESS THE COST AND EXPENSE OF CARRYING
OUT SUCH IMPROVEMENT AGAINST THE PROPERTY
SPECIALLY BENEFITTED THEREBY; AND NOTIFYING ALL
PERSONS WIIO DESIRE TO OBJECT TO THE PROJECT TO
APPEAR AND PRESENT THEIR OBJECTIONS AT A MEETING
OF TIIE CITY COUNCIL TO BE HELD ON June 4, 1973.
BE IT RESOLVED By the City Council of the City of
Tukwila, Washington, as follows:
Section 1. It is the intention of the Council of the City
of Tukwila, Washington, to order the improvement of the property
within the City of Tukwila, Washington, described in Exhibit A
attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof, by the
improvement described in Exhibit B attached hereto and by this
reference made a part hereof.
Section 2. The total estimated cost and expense of the
improvement is declared to be $364,000.00. The City anticipates
receiving grants in the estimated amount of $213,300.00 to pay part
of the cost of the improvement. The balance of the actual cost
and expense of the improvement after applying the grants, now
estimated to be $15g700.00, shall be borne by and assessed against
the property specially benef_itted by such improvement to be in-
cluded in a local improvement district to be established embracing
as near as may be all property specially benefitted by such
improvement.
Section 3. All persons who may desire to object to the
improvement herein described are hereby notified to appear and
present such objections at a meeting to be held in the council
chambers in the City Hall, Tukwila, Washington, at 8:00 P.M.,
Pacific Daylight Time, on June 4, 1973 which time
and place are hereby fixed for hearing all matters relating to
the proposed improvement and all objections thereto and for de-
termining the method of payment for that improvement.
Section 4. IIill, Ingrnan, Chase Co., consulting
engineers, are hereby authorized to proceed with engineering
work required to prepare the preliminary assessment roll and
to make mailings to property owners and are hereby directed to
submit to the City Council on or prior to JUne- 411-k 1cii3
all data and information required by law to be submitted.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted by the City Council
of the City of Tukwila, Washington, and approved by the Mayor at
a regular meeting thereof this 7th day of May 1973.

That portion of Sections 14 and 23, Township 23 North, Range 4
East W.M. described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the South line of the Joseph
Foster D.L.C. No. 39 and the Easterly margin of SR 181;
Thence Northerly along said Easterly margin to its intersection
with a line perpendicular to said Easterly margin and 630 feet
Northerly of the North line of said D.L.C. No. 39, as measured
along said Easterly margin;
Thence Northeasterly along said perpendicular line to its inter-
section with a line 450 feet Easterly of and parallel to the
said Easterly margin of S.R. 181; thence Southerly along said
parallel line to its intersection with the Easterly line of
said D.L.C. No. 39 (Westerly Bank of Green River);
Thence Southerly along said Easterly line to its intersection
with the said South line of D.L.C. No. 39;
Thence Westerly along said South line to its intersection with
the said Easterly margin of S.R. 181 and the Point of Beginning.
