RESOLUTION NO 345
A RLSOLUTI:ON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO
IMPROVE A PART OF THE CITY BY CONSTRUCTING AND
INSTALLING A SYSTEM OF 21-•INCH SEWER LINES
TOGETIHER WITII REQUIRED CONNECTIONS, MANHOLES,
SIDE SEWER STUBS AND APPURTENANCES, AND TO CREATE
A .LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT TO ASSESS THE COST
AND EXPENSE OF CARRYING OUT SUCH IMPROVEMENT
AGAINST THE PROPERTY SPECIALLY BENEFITTED THEREBY,
AND NOTIFYING ALL PERSONS WHO DESIRE TO OBJECT TO
THE PROJECT TO APPEAR AND PRESENT THEIR OBJECTIONS
AT A MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO BE HELD ON
June 4, 1973.
CITY OF TUKWILA
BE IT RESOLVED By the City Council of the City of Tukwila,
Washington, as follows:
Section 1. It is the intention of the Council of the City
of Tukwila, Washington, to order the improvement of the property
within the City of Tukwila, Washington, described in Exhibit A
attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof, by the
improvement described in Exhibit B attached hereto and by this
reference made a part hereof.
Section 2. The total estimated cost and expense of the
improvement is declared to be $220,000.00. The City anticipates
receiving Federal and State grants in the amount of $198,000.00
to pay a part of the cost of the improvement. The balance of the
actual cost and expense of the improvement, after applying the
grants, now estimated to be $22,000.00, shall be borne by and
assessed against the property specially benefitted by said im-
provement, to be included in a local improvement district to he
established, embracing as near as may be all property specially
benefitted by such improvement.
Section 3. All persons who may desire to object to
the improvement herein described are hereby notified to appear
and present such objections at a meeting to be held in the
council chambers in the City Hall, Tukwila, Washington, at 8:00 P.M.,
Pacific Daylight Time, on June 4, 1973
time and place are hereby fixed for hearing all matters relating
to the proposed and improvement and all objections thereto and
for determining the method of payment for that improvement.
Section 4. IIill, Ingman, Chase Co., consulting
engineers, are hereby authorized to proceed with engineering work
required to prepare the preliminary assessment roll and to make
mailings to property owners and are hereby directed to submit to
the City Council on or prior to 'June. 4, 1
all data and information required by law to be submitted.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted by the City Council
of the City of Tukwila, Washington, and approved by the Mayor,
at a regular meeting thereof this 7th day of May, 1973.

That portion of Section 26, Township 23 North, Range 4 East W.M.,
described as follows:
Beginning at a point at the S.E. corner of section 26; thence
westerly 1312.49 feet along the south boundary of Section 26;
thence northerly on the centerline of Andover Park West 1322.42
feet to the intersection of Andover Park ".Test and Minkler Boulevard,
which is the TPOB; thence westerly on the westerly extension of
the Minkler Boulevard centerline 390 feet; thence northerly along
a line parallel to the Andover Park West centerline to a point
330 feet south of the Strander Boulevard centerline; thence 780
feet easterly along a line parallel to the Strander Boulevard
centerline; thence southerly along a parallel to the Andover Park
West centerline to a point of intersection with the centerline of
Minkler Boulevard; thence westerly to the Point of Beginning.
