An ordinance prohibiting the obstructing of any street
or taking any dirt therefrom or depositing any dirt therein,
or removing any sidewalk, unless a permit be first obtained from
the Town Clerk for that purpose, and providing a penalty therefor.
Ordinance 11 was amended or repealed by the

AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE OBSTRUCTING OF ANY STREET
OR TAKING ANY DIRT THERE FROM OR DEPOSITING ANY DIRT THEREIN,
OR REMOVING ANY SIDEWALK, UNLESS A PERMIT BE FIRST OBTAINED FROM
THE CITY CLERK FOR THAT PURPOSE, AND PROVIDING A PENALTY THEREFOR:
Be it Ordained by the Town Council of the Town of Tukwila.
Section 1. That no person shall allow any brush or fallen timber
of any kind; nor wood, coal, wagons, machinery, or
debris of any kind whatsoever to accumulate and obstruct
any street of the Tovm of Tukwila, whether traversed by
pedestrians or teams or both; and no person shall take any
dirt away from or deposit the same in any traveled street
of the said Town of Tukwila, nor ta4e up or cause to be
taken up any sidewalk in any such street, without first
having obtained a-permit from the Town Clerk.
Section 2. That whenever any such permit shall be issued by the
Tovm Clerk for the doing of any of the things mentioned in
Section 1, hereof, the same shall be done in a manner accept-
able to the Tovm Council or its representative. And wherever
such permit authorizes the taking up of any sidewalk, the
same shall be replaced in a proper manner, acceptable to
said Towi Council or its representative.
Section 3. That any person who shall violate any of the provisions
of this ordinance, upon conviction thereof shall be fined
in any sum not less than Five Dollars (45.00) nor mote than-
Twenty-five Dollars (425.00).
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect from and after five
(5)rdays from the date of its publicatior.
Passed the Town Council this 30 day of October, 1908,
and signed by me in open council in 'authentication of its
passage, this OD day of October, A. 1908.
