HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes 0416 - Public Hearing for Street Vacation of South 152nd StreetCITY OF TUKWILA WASHINGTON RESOLUTION NO 416 RESOLUTION' FIXING THE llth DAY OF APRIL, 1974 IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF TUKWILA CITY HALL AS THE AND PLACE FOR PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA TO CONSIDER A PETITION FOR VACATION OF A PORTION OF SOUTH 152nd STREET. WHEREAS, A petition signed by more than two thirds of the owners of property abutting South 152nd Street, has'been filed with the City Clerk, requesting that a portion of South 152nd Street be vacated in accordance with RCW 35.79, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That a public hearing be held by the Planning Commission at 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 11, 1974, in the Council Chambers of the Tukwila City Hall, Tukwila, Washington, to consider the request of property owners adjoining a portion of South 152nd Street, that said street be vacated pursuant to RCW 35.79, the property for which the street vacation is requested being legally described as follows: Beginning at the SE corner of the NW Quarter of Sec. 23, Twp. 23 N., R. 4 E.W.M., thence northerly 15 feet; thence at right angles westerly 650 feet, more or less, to the East margin of 57th Ave. South; thence southerly 30 feet along said margin; thence at right angles easterly 650 feet more or less; thence at right angles northerly 15 feet to true point of beginning, situated in the City of Tukwila, King County, State of Washington. Section 2. The City Clerk is directed to give notice of the pendency of the petition as provided by RCW 35.79.020.
