RESOLUTION NO. 418
CITY OF TUKWILA
RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE FIRM OF ENGINEERS
NORTHWEST, INC., AS STRUCTURAL CONSULTANT
ON THE TRILLIUM PROJECT.
WHEREAS, The City Council finds that the appointment of
a full time City Engineer is unnecessary and in accordance with
RCW 35.24.020 has, in lieu of such appointment, provided for the
performance of necessary engineering services on a part -time,
temporary or periodic basis, and
WHEREAS, It is necessary that an engineer be appointed
to assist the Building Department as structural consultant on the
Trillium Project,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
That the firm of Engineers Northwest, Inc., be employed
to assist the Building Department as structural consultant on
the Trillium Project and, subject to approval by the City Council
as to its terms, the City be and it is hereby authorized through
the Mayor and the Public Works Director to enter into a contract
for such purposes with Engineers Northwest, Inc.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, And approved by the Mayor at a regular meeting thereof
this 1st day of April, 1974.
