RESOLUTION NO 420
RESOLUTION DESIGNATING AN ENGINEERING
FIRM TO CONDUCT INFLOW AND INFILTRATION
STUDIES OF THE SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM IN
THE CITY OF TUKWILA.
WHEREAS, The City Council finds that the appointment
of a full time City Engineer is unnecessary and in accordance
with RCW 35.24.020 has in lieu of such appointment provided for
the performance of necessary engineering services on a part time,
temporary or periodic basis, and
WHEREAS, It is necessary that an engineer be employed
to conduct inflow and infiltration studies of the sanitary sewer
system in the City of Tukwila,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
That the firm of Harstad Associates
be employed to conduct inflow and infiltration studies of the
sanitary sewer system in the City of Tukwila, and, subject to
approval by the City Council as to its terms, the City be and
it is hereby authorized, through the Mayor and the Public Works
Director, to enter into a contract for such purposes with
Harstad &.Associates
PASSEI) BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, And approved by the Mayor at a regular meeting thereof
this 8th day of April, 1974.
