RESOLUTION NO. 431
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
A HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT WITH SOUTHCENTER
SHOPPING CENTER CORPORATION.
WHEREAS Southcenter Shopping Center Corporation has
offered space rent: free to the Tukwila Police Department, which
said offer has been accepted by the City of Tukwila, and
WHEREAS, Southcenter Shopping Center Corporation de-
sires an agreement: from the City of Tukwila holding Southcenter
Shopping Center Corporation harmless from any loss or damage
arising from the City's Police Department use of this rent free
space,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
That Mayor Frank Todd be and he is hereby authorized
to enter into an agreement with Southcenter Shopping Center
Corporation as set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, And approved by the Mayor at a regular meeting
thereof this 13th day of May 1974

The City of Tukwila, Washington, in consideration of
Southcenter Shopping Center Corporation's having provided the
Tukwila Police Department with rent free space for a
Community Affairs Center, hereby agrees to hold Southcenter
Shopping Center Corporation harmless from any loss or damage
arising out of, and agrees to defend any claims against
Southcenter Shopping Center Corporation arising out of acts
or omissions of officers or agents of the Tukwila Police
Department in connection with the use of the rent free space.
