RESOLUTION NO. 446
A RESOLUTION setting forth policy regarding
the tape recordings of certain Tukwila City
Council meetings.
WHEREAS, the need to :retain the tape recordings of Regular, and Special
Meetings, and Public Hearings of the Tukwila City Council is of great import
ance, and in the best interest of the City, and,
WHEREAS, this type of record can be of great assistance to future public
officials of the City of Tukwila,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, DO
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. That tape recordings of all regular and special meetings, and public
hearings held by the Tukwila City Council shall be retained in the office of
the City Clerk for a period of not less than five years from date of said
meeting or hearing.
2. That this policy shall be retroactive to include all such recordings
presently within the 90 -day time period preceding effective date of this resolu-
tion.
3. That this resolution supercedes prior Council motion, passed at a
regular City Council meeting on October 1, 1973.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, at a
regular meeting this 26th day of August 1974.
