WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NO. 447
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PARTICIPATION BY THE
CITY OF TUKWILA IN THE KING COUNTY LAW AND
JUSTICE PLANNING PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, The City of Tukwila is a participant in the
Interlocal Agreement executed by King County and participating
suburban cities, established to promote law and justice planning
and
WHEREAS, The projects proposed for the City of Tukwila
must be integrated with the work of the State of Washington Law and
Justice Planning Office,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the projects of the City of Tukwila
regarding law and justice planning be forwarded to the appropriate
State office to be included with the State of Washington Law and
Justice Planning Program.
Section 2. That Frank Todd, Mayor, be and he is
hereby authorized to execute on behalf of the City of Tukwila any
and all documents necessary to apply for grant applications for
State and Federal funding for the public defender and burglary
programs as outlined in the Tukwila Comprehensive Law and Justice
Planning Program.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, And approved by the Mayor at a regular meeting thereof
this 26th day of August, 1974.
