RESOLUTION NO 454
RESOLUTION DESIGNATING STEVENS, THOMPSON
RUNYAN, INC., AS CONSULTING ENGINEERS ON THE
PROJECT FOR SIGNILIZATION OF THE SOUTH END
OF THE "S" LINE BRIDGE PROJECT.
WHEREAS, The City Council finds that the appointment of a
full time City Engineer is unnecessary and in accordance with
RCW 35.24.020 has, in lieu of such appointment, provided for the
performance of necessary engineering services on a part -time,
temporary or periodic basis, and
WHEREAS, It: is necessary that an engineer be employed as
consultant for signilization of the South end of the "S" Line
Bridge,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
That the firm of Stevens, Thompson Runyan, Inc., be
employed as consulting engineer for the project involving sig-
nalization of the South end of the "S" Line Bridge, and, subject
to approval by the City Council as to its terms, the City be and
it is hereby authorized, through the Mayor and the Public Works
.Director, to enter into a contract for such purposes with Stevens,
Thompson Runyan, Inc.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, And approved by the Mayor, at a regular meeting
thereof this 2nd day of December 1974
