PRESENTATIONS No presentations. II. BUSINESS AGENDA A. 2012 4th Quarter Cash and Investment Report Staff reviewed the 4"' Quarter Cash & Investment Report for 2012 and explained a full year comparison from the same time last year. The briefing included information on the City's portfolio components; portfolio performance; policy compliance and liquidity analysis; and fund cash and investment balances. Each of these is detailed in the informational memo included in the Committee agenda packet. INFORMATION ONLY. B. 2012 4th Quarter Miscellaneous Revenue Report As information only, staff presented the 2012 4"' Quarter Miscellaneous Revenue Report. Sales tax revenues above those for the same period last year by $145,000. As estimated, sales tax revenues exceeded budget projections for 2012 (by $630,000), but remained below last year's receipts (by $302,000). There was a brief discussion regarding the State budget and the potential for Streamlined Sales Tax mitigation payments to be reduced further or completely eliminated. INFORMATION ONLY. III. MISCELLANEOUS Committee Chair Robertson discussed some items that have been added to the 2013 Finance & Safety Committee Work Plan including: policies, revenue enhancements, and compensation. An updated copy of the work plan is attached to these minutes.
