ORDINANCE NO 4
repealed by Ord 569
An ordinances re dating the manner and form of waking, approving
and filing plats within the Town of Tukwila.
Be it ordained by the council of the Town of Tukwila:
Section I-- That before a plat of any land within the Town of
Tukwila, purporting to divide such land into lox•ta`; stye ts
pablie grounds, shall be filed in the office of the, •f Kin,
county, such plat Shall be approved by the Town Council, in the ma)v'i
hereinafter provided.
Section 2 All plats provided for in section I, before being
submitted to the town oounoil, shall be first submitted to the town
surveyor, or a ;a'rrnittee of the council, •oho shall examine the same-And
see that they correspond mite ais of the town in the
vicinity of the lands so platted, and if he or t11''y. shall firtd`tha
oee so correspond, te
Ahe or the shall approve of the same. Such plat shall then be .subMivueu
to the town 'attorney, and be by him examined, to see whether
dedication of tha streets, alleys and public grounds -is sufficient' t

Se'ti.n ?hen the plat is approved by this town council,:suOh
approval shall be endorsed upon any plat and be attested by the clerk
and thereupon suoh plat shall be entitled to be filed for record.
Seotion 4 Any person sha shall file OT cause to be `filed, for
record in the office of the auditor of King county, any plat, which b;t
the provisions of this ordinance shall require approval of the-town
council, without ouch approval, he upon conviction theref shall by
fined in any sum not exceeding $100,00, and the plat so filed shall be
invalid and •f no effect.
Section 5 This ordinance shall take cf_'eet from and after five
(5) days from the date of its nu 1joation,
