RESOLUTION NO. 475
RESOLUTION DESIGNATING HP.RSTAD ASSOCIATES, INC.
AS ENGINEERS FOR LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
NO. 27. and DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, The City Council finds that the appointment of
a full time City Engineer is unnecessary and in accordance with
RCW 35.24.020 has, in lieu of such appointment, provided for the
performance of necessary engineering services on a oart-time,
temporary or periodic basis, and
WHEREAS, It is necessary that an engineer be employed
with regard to construction and installation of storm sewer lines
under proposed Local Improvement District No. 27,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OP TUKWILA
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
That the firm of Harstad Associates, Inc., be employed
to act as engineers for the City in connection with the construction
and installation of storm sewer lines within proposed Local Improve-
ment District No. 27, and subject to approval by the City Council
as to its terms, the City of Tukwila be and it is hereby authorized
through the Mayor and the Public Works Director to enter into a
contract for such purposes with Harstad Associates, Inc.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, And approved at a regular meeting thereof
this 3rd day of February 1975
