WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NO. 477
RESOLUTION DESIGNATING STEVENS, THOMPSON
RUNYAN, INC., AS ENGINEERS TO DESIGN TRI'
SIGNALS ON THE NORTH END OF THE "S" LINE
BRIDGE AND AT ANDOVER PARK WEST AND STRANDER
BOULEVARD INTERSECTION.
WHEREAS, The City Council finds that the appointment of
a full time City Engineer is unnecessary and in accordance with
RCW 35.24.020 has, in lieu of such appointment, provided for
the performance of necessary engineering services on a part--
time, temporary or periodic basis and
WHEREAS, It is necessary that an enaineer be employed
to design automatic traffic signals for the North end of the
"S" line bridge and at Andover Park West and Strander Boulevard
intersection,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
That the firm of Stevens, Thompson Runyan, Inc., be
employed to design automatic traffic signals for the North end
of the "S" line bridge and for the Andover Park West and
Strander Boulevard intersection, and subject to its approval
by the City Council as to its terms, the City be and it is
hereby authorized through the Mayor and the Public Works
Director to enter into a contract for such purposes with
Stevens, Thompson Runyan, Inc.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
