ON THE 3rd DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1975, IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF TUKWILA CITY HALL AS THE TIME AND PLACE FOR PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA TO CONSIDER A PETITION FOR ANNEXATION OF A PARCEL OF LAND LOCATED ON THE WEST- ERN SIDE OF THE INTERSECTION OF INTERURBAN AVENUE AND 52nd AVENUE SOUTH. WHEREAS, the initiating party who owns 100% of the property proposed for annexation has notified the City Council of their intention to commence annexation proceedings in a letter dated August 26, 1975, as required by RCW 35.13.125, and WHEREAS, RCW 35.13.140 requires the City Council fix a hearing date on the matter whether or not to accept the annexation and whether or not to require assumption of the City indebtedness. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That a public hearing be held before the City Council at 7:3 0 P.M. on the 3rd day of November, 1975, to consider the request of the petitioner to annex property adjacent to and generally located on the west intersection of Interurban Avenue and 52nd Avenue South and legally described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the southwesterly line of Pacific Highway with the northwesterly line of Foster Street; thence along said street line south 48 04'00" west 105 feet; thence south 29 30'00" west 79 feet; thence north 60 30'00" west 90 feet; thence north 35 45'30" east 197.83 feet east to the southwesterly line of Pacific Highway; thence southeasterly along said highway line to the point of beginning. Section 2. That prior to the date fixed for the public hearing, the City Clerk is directed to publish and post notices of same in accordance with RCW 35.13.140, the expense of publication and posting of the notice to be borne by the signer of the petition.
