RESOLUTION NO. 510
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF TUKWILA
TO DONATE A MOTORCYCLE TO HIGHLINE COMMUNITY
COLLEGE
WHEREAS, the Tukwila Police Department has a 1969 BSA
motorcycle which is inoperable and in need of extensive repairs;
and
WHEREAS, this motorcycle cannot be used by the Tukwila
Police Department without repair and, in any event, is not need-
ed by the Tukwila Police Department; and,
WHEREAS, Highline Community College is a publicly fund-
ed and owned institution of higher education which has a techni-
cal training program which is in need of equipment for instruc-
tional purposes to help teach students how to repair and maintain
said mechanical equipment;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
A 1969 BSA motorcycle, vehicle identification number
WA 7219622, shall be donated by the City of Tukwila to Highline
Community College for instructional purposes on the condition
that Highline Community College agrees in writing that said vehicle
shall not be sold, traded, or given away to any other party and
that said vehicle will never be licensed or operated on a public
street.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, at a regular meeting thereof this 17th day of February 1976

Highline Community College is very pleased to accept a 1969 BSA
motorcycle, V.I.N. #WA 7219622, from the Tukwila Police Depart-
ment under the following conditions: The motorcycle is for instruc-
tional use only; it will not be sold, given away, or licensed; nor
will it be operated on public roads.
You may be assured that this handsome gift will be put to good use
in our instructional program, and we thank the Tukwila Police De-
partment.
Mr. Bruce Robertson, instructor in our Sports Vehicle Mechanics
course,will arrange to pick up the motorcycle.
