RESOLUTION NO 525
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING MAYOR
TO NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH
LeSOURD, PATTEN, FLEMING HARTUNG
FOR COMPENSATION FOR LEGAL SERVICES RENDERED
WHEREAS, LeSOURD, PATTEN, FLEMING HARTUNG has been
confirmed as the City Attorney for the City of Tukwila; and
WHEREAS, certain legal services to be performed by
LeSourd, Patten, Fleming Hartung are not to be included with-
in the items to be paid by the monthly retainer; and
WHEREAS, these legal services are set forth in Section
2.16.030 of the Tukwila Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the parties wish to establish a mutually
agreeable rate of compensation for said legal services for the
year 1976,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Tukwila,
Washington does resolve as follows:
The Mayor is authorized to negotiate and
execute an agreement with LeSOURD, PATTEN, FLEMING
HARTUNG, a partnership, for compensation for
legal services, with terms and conditions identical
to, or substantially similar to, the agreement, a
copy of which is attached hereto as Attachment 1.

THIS AGREEMENT, made this j�j day of (2"e1e_
1976, between LeSOURD, PATTEN, FLEMING HARTUNG, a partnership
(hereinafter referred to as "Firm and the CITY OF TUKWILA, a
municipal corporation (hereinafter referred to as "City
W I T N E S S E T H
WHEREAS, Firm has been confirmed as the City Attorney
for the City of Tukwila; and
WHEREAS, certain legal services to be performed by
Firm are not to be included within the items to be paid by the
monthly retainer; and
WHEREAS, these legal services are set forth in Section
2.16.030 of the Tukwila Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the parties hereto wish to establish a
mutually agreeable rate of compensation for said legal serivces
for the year 1976,
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby agreed as follows:
1. Unless otherwise agreed to by the parties, Firm
shall provide all :Legal services as set forth in Tukwila Municipal
Code 2.16.030 at the hourly rate of $45 per hour for the year 1976.
2. City shall pay for said services on a monthly basis
and shall reimburse Firm for all costs and expenses incurred in
said legal matters.
3. Another compensation agreement will be negotiated
for each subsequent year that Firm is confirmed as City Attorney.
