ORDINANCE NO. 494 AN ORDINANCE CORRECTING THE LEGAL DESCRIPTION
FOR ORDINANCES 357, 360 and 361.

0 WHEREAS, Ordinances 357, 360 and 361 were previously passed by

the City of Tukwila and upon examination, the legal description

is not in accordance with the petition which commenced the annexation
set forth in Ordinance No. 357 and
WHEREAS, the City Council and the Planning Commission intended
that the legal description of the ordinances would be the same
as the legal description in said annexation petition; and
WHEREAS, King County has questioned the accuracy of the legal
description and desires a more accurate legal description.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City ofTukwila do ordain
as follows:
Section 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 357 and Sectinn 1 of 361
are hereby amended to read as follows:
That pursuant to RCW 35.13, annexation proceedings, the following
described property contiguous to the City limits of the City of
Tukwila, to wit:
Beginning at the intersection of the southeasterly
production of the southwesterly margin of south
133rd street, with the center line of the green
river. Thence Northwesterly along said production
and said southwesterly margin of street to inter-
section with southeasterly margin of 56th Avenue
south. Thence northeasterly along said Avenue to
the most northerly corner of Tract 51, East :R'ivertom
Garden tracts, according to Plat recorded in
Volume 12, of Plats page 79 in King County, Washington.
Thence southeasterly along northeasterly margin of
said tract 51 and production thereof to the easterly
margin of 57th Avenue South. Thence northeasterly
along the south easterly margin of 57th Avenue
South to the most northerly corner of tract 74 of
said plat. Thence southeasterly along the north-
easterly margin of said tract 74 and the production
thereof. To the center a of the Green's River.

Section 2. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 360 is hereby amended
to read as follows:
That M -1, light industry zoning, as defined in Tukwila Ordinance
No. 251, be applied to the tract of land annexed to Tukwila under
Ordinance No. 351 and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the southeasterly
production of the southwesterly margin of south
133rd street, with the center line of the green
river. Thence Northwesterly along said production
and said southwesterly margin of street to inter-
section with southeasterly margin of 56th Avenue
south. Thence northeasterly along said Avenue
to the most northerly corner of Tract 51, East
Riverton Garden tracts, according to Plat
recorded in Volume 12, of Plats page 79 in King
County, Washington. Thence southeasterly along
northeasterly margin of said tract 51 and production
thereof to the easterly margin of 57th Avenue
South. Thence northeasterly along the south easterly
margin of 57th Avenue South to the most northerly
corner of tract 74 of said plat. Thence southeasterly
along the northeasterly margin of said tract 74 and
the production thereof. To the center line of the
