HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes 0536 - Job Description and Salary Administration Plan for City EmployeesRESOLUTION NO 536 CITY OF WASHINGTON RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH HARRY PRIOR ASSOCIATES FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES TO DEVELOP A FORMALIZED JOB DESCRIPTION AND SALARY ADMINISTRATION PLAN FOR ALL CITY EMPLOYEES WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that a comprehensive salary administration plan which includes realistic and accurate job descriptions should be developed for all City employees; and, WHEREAS, such a plan will assist the City Council in developing a fiscal policy with priorities in conjunction to all City needs; and, WHEREAS, the City Council through its Labor Negotiator has committed the City to develop such a plan; and, WHEREAS, the'City has asked for and received proposals from professional firms qualified to develop the necessary plans, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Tukwila, Washington, does resolve as follows: ATTEST: That the Mayor is authorized to execute an agreement with Harry Prior and Associates for professional services to develop a formalized job description and salary administration plan for all City employees as outlined in the proposal submitted on April 2, 1976.
