RESOLUTION NO 550
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PARK BOARD'S
RECOMMENDATION OF "JOSEPH FOSTER MEMORIAL
PARK" AS THE NAME FOR THE RECREATION AREA
LOCATED AT 53rd AVENUE SOUTH AND SOUTH
139th STREET.
WHEREAS, the park area leased by the City of Tukwila
at 53rd Avenue South and South 139th Street is unnamed, and
WHEREAS, the Tukwila Park Board has recommended the
name "Joseph Foster Memorial Park" for this area;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Tukwila, Washington, do resolve as follows:
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, at a regular meeting thereof this 16th day of August 1976.
That the recommendation of the Tukwila Park
Board be accepted and that the park area
located at 53rd Avenue South and South 139th
Street will be known as "JOSEPH FOSTER MEMORIAL
PARK
