RESOLUTION NO. 553
A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CHANGE THE
CLASSIFICATION OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA TO THAT
OF NON- CHARTER CODE CITY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. It determines that it would serve the best interest
and general welfare of the City and hereby declares its intention to adopt
the classification of Non Charter Code City for the City of Tukwila, Wash-
ington.
Section 2. The form of government shall be Mayor Council.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall publish this Resolution in
The Record Chronicle within ten days after its final passage.
Section 4. If, upon the expiration of the ninetieth day from
but excluding the date of first publication of this Resolution, no timely
or sufficient referendum petition has been filed as determined by RCW
35A.29.170 the City Council shall effect the intent of this Resolution by
adopting an Ordinance classifying the City of Tukwila a Non Charter Code
City.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
at a regular meeting thereof this 7th day of September 1976.
