ORDINANCE NO. 490 4.-T°
AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA TO CERTAIN RECENTLY
ANNEXED PROPERTY IN CLASSIFYING THAT PROPERTY
AS M -1.
1. WHEREAS, the property described herein was recently
annexed to the. City of Tukwila by Ordinance No. 47L and
2. WHEREAS, the owners of said property have petitioned
the Planning Commission for an extension of the Comprehensive Plan
to that property and a classification thereof as M -1, light industry,
and
3. WHEREAS, public hearings on said petition were held
before the Planning Commission and the City Council of the City of
Tukwila, and the City Council having received a favorable recommendation
of the Planning Commission with respect to the aforementioned
petition for an extension of the Comprehensive Plan and classification
of certain designated property as M -1;
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Tukwila do
ordain as follows:
The comprehensive plane of the City of Tukwila is hereby
extended to encompass the following described real property, by
planning the use of said property to be light industry, and the
following described real property is hereby classified as M -1, light
industry, in accordance with Ordinance No. 251 of the City of
Tukwila, as amended, and the City Council hereby adopts the attached
map showing said classification for the following described real
property:

All of Lot 17 and that part of Lot 16 in
Fostoria Garden Tracts as recorded in Book
9 of Plats, King County, Washington, described
as follows; Beginning at the southwest corner
of said Lot 16 and running thence South 47 degrees
12 minutes East 175.31 feet; thence South '67
degrees 43 minutes East 20 feet; thence North 30
degrees East 378 feet; thence North 5 degrees
58 minutes West 174.4 feet to the West boundr.yt
of said Lot 16, thence South 40 degrees 17
minutes west along said West boundry a distance
of 491.6 feet to the point of beginning, Except
those portions conveyed to the State of Washington
for highway purposes.
The City Clerk is directed to file a copy of this
ordinance and map with the King County Auditor.
