Rants, Mayor This review limited to speculative tenant space only - special fire permits may be necessary depending on detailed description of intended use. Yours truly, The Tukwila Fire Prevention Bureau cc: T.F.D. file ncd Architecture Engineering Land Use Services March 7, 1994 Mr. Vernon Umatsu Planner Department of Community Development City of Tukwila 6500 South center Boulevard Tukwila, Washington 98188 Re:13000 East Marginal Way South, Project # B94 -0067 Dear Mr. Umatsu, This letter is in response to your request of a description of activity and the historical use established by the assessor's office on the above mentioned project. The owners of this building intend to reside in the second floor apartment unit and operate a jewelry shop on the first level. The first level will also contain an artist studio. Body Circle Jewelry primarily fabricates stainless steel jewelry for distribution to their network of customers. They use small quantities of stainless steel rods and wire in combination with other precious stones. Storage of this material is very limited and takes up less than 10% of the floor area. The fabrication area consists of assembly tables and small tools used in the process. There is no warehousing of large amounts of material or products. There is a small retail area on the first level. In addition to the owners, this operation has a maximum of one full time and one part time employee. The artist studio is used by the owners for their own purposes and employs no one. With regard to the historical use, please find enclosed a copy of the assessor's records for this site. This information confirms that the apartment is existing and that the lower level has been used as a store and retail space. Please let me know if you need any additional information or have any other questions. We look forward to your approval and /or comments. Sincerely, Kevin H.
