RESOLUTION NO. 613
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUKIIILA, WASHINGTON, IN
APPRECIATION TO DWIGHT R. GARDNER FOR HIS SERVICE TO
THE CITY OF TUKWILA AS COUNCILMAN.
WHEREAS, Dwight R. Gardner has honorably and faithfully served the
City of Tukwila as a member of its Council since April 6, 1964, giving freely
of his time and effort during this 14 years, and
WHEREAS, during this period of time, he has seen the population grow
from 2,101 to 3,037; the annual budget for the City go from $209,677 to
$7,721,406; and the assessed valuation increase from $3,238,702 to $360,409,786,
WHEREAS, Councilman Gardner has been very much a part of this growth
by working diligently with the members of the Council and serving on the numerous
committees to which he was appointed.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
We, the members of the Tukwila City Council, on behalf of the
citizens of Tukwila, commend Dwight R. Gardner for his honorable
and faithful service to the City during his fourteen years as a
member of the Tukwila City Council.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, at a
regular meeting thereof this 6th day of February 1978
