RESOLUTION NO 629
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA RELATING
TO SELECTION OF A FIRM TO OPERATE THE FOSTER
GOLF COURSE, APPROVING A CONTRACT THERETO, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO SAID CONTRACT.
WHEREAS the City of Tukwila is taking over ownership
of the Foster Golf Course at 12:01 A.M., May 2, 1978, and;
WHEREAS the City of Tukwila is in need of a qualified
firm to operate said Golf Course for the City, and;
WHEREAS Golf Management and Planning, Inc. has submitted
a proposal to the City to operate the Golf Course which is benefi-
cial to the City;
NOW, TIIEREFOaE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The attached contract proposed between
the City and Golf Management and Planning, Inc. is accepted
by the City substantially as attached and the Mayor is
authorized to execute this contract for the City.
Section 2: The Mayor is authorized to sign a
joint memo of understanding with the lessee to the
affect that the present rules and green fees shall
stay in effect until adopted formally by the City
Council.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIME CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
at a regular meeting thereof this 27th day of April 1978
