RESOLUTION NO 630
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE THE
TERMINATION OF THE LEASE FOR THE THORNDYKE COMMUNITY
BUILDING.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 585 authorized the Mayor to negotiate a lease for
the Thorndyke Community Building, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that to use Block Grant Funds a long term
commitment on the project is necessary, and
WHEREAS, the Tukwila City Council does not wish to enter into a long
term contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Tukwila, Washington,
does resolve as follows:
The Mayor is hereby authorized to negotiate and execute the
termination of the lease for the Thorndyke Community Building
for the mutual benefit of the involved parties.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
at a regular meeting thereof this I day of 1978.
