AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING PROCEDURES AND FEES FOR ANNEXAT'ICN
PETITIONS
The City Council of the City of Tukwila do ordain
as follows:
All annexation petitions hereinafter presented to
the City of Tukwila shall require the following:
1. Legal description and maps. The legal description
of the property and plat outlining the boundaries of the property,
sought to be annexed, shall be certified by a licensed land
surveyor or engineer.
2. Fees. A non refundable fee for each petition shall
be paid to the City Clerk on the following schedule.
A. Filing fee $50.00.
B. Together with an area fee of $25.00 for each
acre or portion thereof, provided that the total
filing and area fee for any one annexation shall
not exceed $250.00.
3. Filing and publication costs. In addition to the
filing fee petitioner will pay for any costs of ordinance
publication or recording fees.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Tukwila this
day of June, 1967.
