WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NO. 637
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
HONORING THE MEMORY OF BURTON P. LUTES, OUTSTANDING
CITIZEN, FORMER CITY COUNCILMAN.
WHEREAS, Burton P. Lutes, an outstanding citizen of the City of
Tukwila, has been called by death; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Lutes was an active member of the City Council from
June 2, 1947, to January 12, 1949; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Lutes, with the help of other volunteers, spent many
hours constructing the log cabin at the Bicentennial Park;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS:
That the Mayor, Councilmen, and Citizens hereby honor the memory
of Burton P. Lutes, Outstanding Citizen and Councilmember.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
That this Resolution shall be placed in the records of the City of
Tukwila and a copy shall be forwarded to the family.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
and signed by the Mayor and Councilmembers this 19th day of June, 1978.
