HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes 0661 - LID #29 (Local Improvement District) - Easements for Property RESOLUTION NO 661 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, ti^IASHINGTON AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE EASEMENTS FOR PROPERTY IN CONJUNCTION WITH LID NO. 29. WHEREAS, the City of Tukwila deems it to be in the best interests of the City and the participants of LID 29 to exchange certain properties with private developers who are also participants in Local Improvement District No. 29; NO?'V, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUXWILA, WASHINGTON, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: The Mayor is hereby authorized to negotiate and execute easements for property in conjunction with LID 29 between the City of Tukwila and the H MH Logging Company, as follows: 1. A perpetual easement whereby the City of Tukwila grants to Hi Logging Company, their assigns, heirs, executors, adminis- trators or successors perpetual use of the City right -of -way immediately adjacent to the south property line of HMH Logging Company property on the west side of 62nd Avenue South, north of Southcenter Blvd. Said easement will be for parking and internal vehicular circulation. Said easement will be in consideration of an easement granted by HMH Logging Company to the City as des- cribed in paragraph 2. below. 2. A perpetual easement whereby the HMH Logging Company grants to the City of Tukwila the right to perpetual access over the side- walk built in the area 15 feet west of the east property line of HM1FI Logging Company property along 62nd Avenue South from Southcenter Blvd. to 205 feet, more or less, north.
