AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF TUKWILA
WHEREAS, the City of Tukwila received an annexation
va
petition for certain property (described in Exhibit A) which is
adjacent and contiguous to the City of Tukwila; and
WHEREAS, said petition was in proper form and conformed
to the requirements of the State Annexation Statute; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on said annexation
as required by law; and
WHEREAS, a review board was waived as authorized by law.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Tukwila
do ordain as follows:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Tukwila
hereby determines that said annextion.petition should be granted
and that the real property described in Exhibit A be and it is hereby
annexed to the City of Tukwila.
Section 2. The property annexed shall assume its pro rata
share of any existing City indebtedness.
Sect ion 3. The City Clerk shall certify a copy of
this Ordinance and the same shall be filed with the Board of
County Commissioners of King County as required by law.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Tukwila this
1st day of May, 1967.
