RESOLUTION NO 693
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL STATING THE CITY'S INTENTION
TO MAKE APPLICATION FOR A PORTION OF KING COUNTY HOUSING
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT "NEEDS" FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the Joint Policy Committee of the King County Consortium
has authorized a special "needs" reallocation process, and;
WHEREAS, on 4 September 1979 the City Council did conduct a public
hearing to solicit public participation in the identification of a use for such
funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUKWILA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Application shall be made for $47,033 of the reallocated
"needs" funds for the design and construction of Phase III of the Christensen
Greenbelt project, a pedestrian /bicycle overpass across Interstate 405 on an
extension of Christensen Road.
Section 2. The Mayor of the City of Tukwila is authorized to enter
into such contracts as necessary with the King County Consortium in order to
receive authorization for spending.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, at a
regular meeting thereof, this day of 1979.
