ORDINANCE NO. 477 7 J?
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF TUKWILA
WHEREAS, the City of Tukwila received annexation petitions
from Tukwila Interurban Investment Co. and Peoples National Bank
of Washington for certain property (described in attached Exhibits
A and B) which is adjacent and contiguous to the City of Tukwila;
and
WHEREAS, said petitions were in proper form and conformed
to the requirements of the State Annexation Statue; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on said petitions
as required by law; and
WHEREAS, a review board was waived as authorized by law.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City council of the City of Tukwila
do ordain as follows:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Tukwila
hereby determines that said annexation petitions should be granted
and that the real property described on Exhibits A and B be and
it is hereby annexed to the City of Tukwila.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify a copy of
this Ordinance and the same shall be filed with the Board of County
Commissioners of King County as required by law.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Tukwila

That portion of STEPHEN FOSTER DONATION CLAIM described as follows:
Beginning at an iron pipe marking the intersection of the southerly line
of 52nd Avenue South (formerly Foster Street) and the Westerly line of
Duwamish Renton Junction Road, as said streets located and dedicated in
CP' Section 14,Township 23 North, Range 4 East, W.M., in King County Washington;
thence South 49.11'08" West along southerly line of 52nd Avenue South a
N. distance of 83.00 feet to the true point of beginning, which is marked by
an iron pipe; thence South 49.24'00" East 110.00 feet; thence South 40.36'
1 '4 00" West 70.00 feet; thence North 49'24'00" West to the Southeasterly line
to the true point of beginning.
That portion of STEPHEN FOSTER DONATION CLAIM described as follows:
Beginning at interesction of Southerly line of Foster Street with Westerly
line of Duwamish Renton Junction Road, as said streets are located and
dedicated in Section 14, township 23 North, Range 4E, W.M. in King County,
Washington; thence South 49 "11'08" West along Southerly line of Foster Street,
a distance of 83.00 feet to an iron pipe; thence 49'24'00" East parallel with
Westerly line of said Duwamish- Renton Junction Road to Southeasterly line of
a tract of land deeded to Robert W. Eddy by deed recorded under Auditor's File
No. 3333356, records of said county; thence North 40'36'00" East along said
Southeasterly line 82.07 feet to Southwesterly line of said Duwamish- Renton
Junction Road; thence Northwesterly along said Southwesterly line and following
the arc of a curve having a radius of 5699.65 feet an arc distance of 3.53 feet
to a point of tangency; thence North 49'24'00" West along said Southwesterly
line 176.17 feet to point of beginning.
EXHIBIT "B"
Beginning at a point on the west line of Section 14, Township 23
North,Range4 E., W.M., in King County, Washington, 155.84 feet
north of the west quarter corner of Section 14; thence east 279.7
feet; thence north 29030'00" east 293.6 feet, more or less, to
the southwesterly line of Pacific Highway; thence in a northwesterly
direction following said southwesterly line, 218 feet, more or less,
to a point 346.5 feet southeasterly from the intersection of said
southeasterly line with the said west line of Section 14, to the
true point of beginning; thence at right angles southwesterly 220
feet; thence at right angles southeasterly 96 feet; thence at right
angles northeasterly to an intersection with the said highway which
is a distance of 96 feet from the true point of beginning.
