A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING SOLE SOURCE
PURCHASE OF HUNA SKATE PARK APPARATUS FROM
NORTHWEST PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT, INC., OF ISSAQUAH.
WHEREAS, the City of Tukwila has an adopted Capital Improvement Plan that includes
funding to provide a skate park for its citizens, and
WHEREAS, the City of Tukwila researched sixteen different vendors who provide
above ground skate park apparatus, and
WHEREAS, HUNA Designs ramps and rails are the only product to meet the City of
Tukwila's criteria, and
WHEREAS, there is only one source of the HUNA Designs skate ramps and rails in
Washington, and they provide excellent service and assistance,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 Parks and Recreation Department is authorized to buy HUNA Designs skate
ramps and rails from Northwest Playground Equipment, Inc at the lump sum amount of
$164,565 15
