A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, SETTING BUDGET
GUIDELINES FOR THE ANNUAL EMPLOYEE AWARDS
BANQUET AS AUTHORIZED IN THE ANNUAL BUDGET.
WHEREAS, the Tukwila City Council has approved expenditures for an annual
employee awards and appreciation event for more than 20 years; and
WHEREAS, the Council desires to formally acknowledge this event as an integral part of
the employees' value to the City's mission; and
WHEREAS, the Council has determined that the annual event will be planned and
executed by an Awards Committee;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The annual employee awards event will be shown in each adopted annual
budget's detail of expenditures.
Section 2. The expenditures authorized for the employee awards event can include,
but are not limited to, announcements, facility charges, entertainment, food, and nominal door
prizes.
Section 3. Eligible event participants include employees, their spouses, and elected
officials.
PASSED BY THE CITY CQ�V IL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, at a
Special Meeting thereof this H day of 2002.
