ORDINANCE NO. 476
SOUTH 134TH STREET AND SOUTH 135TH STREET
FOSTORIA GARDEN TRACTS AREA
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF TUKWILA
WHEREAS, the City of Tukwila received an annexation
petition for certain property (described in Section 1) which is
adjacent and contiguous to the City of Tukwila; and
WHEREAS, said petition was in proper form and conformed
to the requirements of the State Annexation Statute; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on said annexation
as required by law; and
WHEREAS, a review board was waived as authorized by law.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Tukwila
do ordain as follows:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Tukwila hereby
determines that Said annexation petition should be granted and that
the following described real property be and it is hereby annexed
to the City of Tukwila:
All of Lot 17 and that part of Lot 16 in Fostoria
_Garden Tracts as recorded in Book 9 of Plats at
page 95, King County, Washington, described as
follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of said Lot 16
and running thence South 47 degrees 12' East
17 feet; thence South 67 degrees 43' East
20 feet; thence North 30 degrees East 378 feet;
thence North 5 degrees 58' West 174.4 feet to
the West boundary of said Lot 16, thence South
40 degrees 17' West along said West boundary a
distance of 491.6 feet to the point of beginning,
Except those portions conveyed to the State of
Washington for highway purposes.
