HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes 1467 - 42nd Avenue South Service Area Annexation by Val Vue Sewer District t .11LA, .1, 4 G) 1908 f it o Tukwila Washington Resolution No. 4 CD 7 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, CONSIDERING THE ANNEXATION OF THE 42ND AVENUE SOUTH SERVICE AREA (SEE EXHIBIT A) BY THE VAL VUE SEWER DISTRICT. WHEREAS, Val Vue Sewer District has notified the City of interest in annexing the 42nd Avenue South service area; and WHEREAS, the City of Tukwila does not have any sanitary sewer facilities in the area to serve the 42nd Avenue South service area (see Exhibit A); and WHEREAS, some residents of 42nd Avenue South area (see Exhibit A) are having problems with their septic systems and have requested service from the Val Vue Sewer District; and WHEREAS, the Val Vue Sewer District has nearby sewer mains and line capacity to provide sanitary sewers to the area (see Exhibit A); NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City Council of the City of Tukwila has no objection to the annex- ation of the 42nd Avenue South service area (see Exhibit A) to the Val Vue Sewer District.
