AMENDING CHAPTER
20.04.100(a) OF THE TUKWILA MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO TAXATION OF GAMBLING ACTIVITIES.
WHEREAS, the declarations and statements to be filed under Tukwila Municipal Code
20.04.080 and Payment of Tax Penalty for Late Payments under 20.04.100(a) must have the
same due dates, and
WHEREAS, the City desires to maintain consistent reporting and payment due dates;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Amendment. Section 20.04.100(a) of the Tukwila Municipal Code shall be
amended as follows:
The tax imposed by this chapter shall be due and payable in quarterly installments, and
remittance therefor shall accompany each return and be made on or before the last day
of the month following the quarterly period in which the tax accrued.
Section 2. Severability. If any section, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance
should be held to be invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction, such
invalidity or unconstitutionality shall not affect the validity or constitutionality of any other
section, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance.
Section 3. Effective Date. This ordinance or a summary thereof shall be published in
the official newspaper of the City, and shall take effect and be in full force five (5) days after
passage and publication as provided by law.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING CHAPTER 20.04.100(a) OF THE
TUKWILA MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO TAXATION OF
GAMBLING ACTIVITIES.
On 2 -'9 V the City Council of the City of Tukwila passed Ordinance
No. /L,9 amending TMC Chapter 20.04.100(a) to agree with TMC 20.04.080 to
maintain consistent reporting and payment due dates; providing for severability and
establishing an effective date.
The full text of this ordinance will be mailed without charge to anyone who submits a
written request to the City Clerk of the City of Tukwila for a copy of the text.
