AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE 1993 BUDGET ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO.
1642, TO APPROPRIATE INTERGOVERNMENTAL REVENUES
AND TRANSFERS; PROVIDE EXPENDITURES FOR THE TUKWILA
POND PURCHASE; ESTABLISHING THE "REFUNDED BONDS"
FUND NO. 632 AND AUTHORIZING CERTAIN BUDGET
TRANSFERS; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City has approved the purchase of the Tukwila Pond in the 1994 -1999
Capital Improvement Program, and
WHEREAS, the Tukwila Pond property was made available in 1993 along with contributions
from King County agencies, and
WHEREAS, a non budgetary agency fund "Refunded Bonds No. 632" is required to account
for water /sewer refunded bonds, and
WHEREAS, the City desires to budget for unanticipated expenditures,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
HEREBY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The following program categories in the 1993 budget, as adopted by Ordinance
No. 1642, are hereby amended to read as follows:
Land Acquisition, Recreation and Park Development 301
REVENUES.•
301 337 070 .05 Conservation Futures —1992 $200,000
301 337 070 .07 King County Bond Open Space 626,000
TOTAL REVENUES 826,000
Grant funds budgeted in 1994 received in 1993 for Tukwila Pond Purchase
EXPENDITURES.•

301 594 760 60 Right of Way Open Space (378,000)
TOTAL EXPENDITURES $826,000
To budget for the purchase of the Tukwila Pond in 1993.
See Attachment A for the 1993 Budget Transfers.
Section 2. Ordinance No. 1642 is hereby amended by revising the summary of totals of
estimated revenues and appropriations and the aggregate total to reflect the foregoing increases in
revenues and appropriations as set forth in Section 1 of this ordinance.
Section 3. The Finance Director is hereby authorized and instructed to effectuate the
necessary changes in the 1993 budget and to make all necessary and appropriate line item entries
and adjustments in order to reflect the increases to revenues and appropriations as set forth in this
ordinance.
Section 4. If any section, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance should be held to be
invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity or
unconstitutionality shall not affect the validity or constitutionality of any other section, sentence,
clause or phrase of this ordinance.
Section S. This ordinance or a summary thereof shall be published in the official newspaper
of the City, and shall take effect and be in full force five days after passage and publication, as
provided by law.

On /3/ 73 the City Council of the City of Tukwila passed Ordinance
No. i ,amending the 1993 budget, adopted by Ordinance No. 1642, to appropriate
intergovernmental revenues and transfers and provide expenditures for the Tukwila Pond
purchase, establishing Fund No. 632 and authorizing certain budget transfers, providing for
severability, and establishing an effective date.
