ORDINANCE NO. e-
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, ESTABLISHING
RESTRICTIONS ON THE DISCHARGE OF FIREWORKS
WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF
TUKWILA FOR 1992.
WHEREAS, a water shortage has been declared for the Seattle area, and
WHEREAS, recent meteorological conditions have resulted in extremely dry
conditions, and
WHEREAS, the Tukwila City Council is concerned with the health, safety and
welfare of its citizens,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Limits on Fireworks Dischar -e. The discharge of fireworks within
the corporate limits of the City of Tukwila shall be limited to July 4th only between the
hours of 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.
Section 2. Penalties. Any person who shall violate any portion of this
ordinance shall be subject to having their fireworks confiscated.
Section 3. Severability. If an section, sentence, clause or phrase of this
ordinance should be held to be invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent
jurisdiction, such invalidity or unconstitutionality shall not affect the validity or
constitutionality of any other section, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance.
Section 4. Effective Date. This ordinance or a summary thereof shall be
published in the official newspaper of the City, and shall take effect and be in full force
five (5) days after passage and publication as provided by law.
Section 5. Termination of Ordinance., This ordinance shall remain in effect
until December 31, 1992.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, ESTABLISHING RESTRICTIONS ON THE
DISCHARGE OF FIREWORKS WITHIN THE CORPORATE
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA FOR 1992,
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, AND ESTABLISHING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
On -/j 92 the City Council of the City of Tukwila passed Ordinance No.
Z g establishing restrictions on the discharge of fireworks within the corporate
limits of the City in 1992 due to the water shortage and extremely dry conditions.
The full text of this ordinance will be mailed without charge to anyone who submits a
written request to the City Clerk of the City of Tukwila for a copy of the text.
