ORDINANCE NO. 1
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE 1990 BUDGET, ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO.
1552, TO APPROPRIATE UNANTICIPATED ESTIMATED
BEGINNING FUND BALANCE GENERAL FUND, AND
UNANTICIPATED OPERATING TRANSFERS IN WATER/SEWER
REVENUE BONDS FUND; AND EXPENDITURES /TRANSFERS
WITHIN THE GENERAL, WATER, AND WATER/SEWER REVENUE
BONDS FUNDS FOR CASCADE VIEW AND OTHER YEAR -END
BUDGET ADJUSTMENTS AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the City desires to budget for Cascade View annexation related costs not previously
anticipated, and
WHEREAS, additional funding authority is necessary to supplement various General Fund
departments, Water Fund purchased water, and Water /Sewer Revenue Bonds Fund Debt Service needs,
and
WHEREAS, the City desires to provide appropriate levels of service to these funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DO HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The following program categories in the 1990 budget, as adopted by Ordinance No.
1552, passed by the City Council on December 18, 1989, are hereby amended to read as follows:

Section 2. Ordinance No. 1552, passed by the City Council on December 18, 1989, is hereby
amended by revising the summary of totals of estimated revenues and appropriations and the aggregate
total to reflect the foregoing increases in revenues and appropriations as set forth in Section 1 of this
ordinance.
Section 3. The Finance Director is hereby authorized and instructed to effectuate the necessary
changes in the 1990 budget and to make all necessary and appropriate line item entries and adjustments in
order to reflect the increases to revenues and appropriations as set forth in this ordinance.
Section 4. This ordinance or a summary thereof shall be published in the official newspaper of the
City, and shall take effect and be in full force five (5) days after passage and publication as provided by
law.

On �o�r ri c �4 7 the City Council of the City of Tukwila passed Ordinance
No /6 9 D appropriating unanticipated estimated beginning fund balance general
fund and unanticipated operating transfers in water /sewer revenue bonds fund; and
expenditures /transfers within the General, Water, and Water /Sewer Revenue Bonds Funds for
Cascade View and other year -end budget adjustments, and establishing and effective date.
The full text of this ordinance will be mailed without charge to anyone who submits a
written request to the City Clerk of the City of Tukwila for a copy of the text.
