HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 1577 - 1990 Budget Amendment _*ILA 7908 CITY OF TUKWILA WASHINGTON ORDINANCE NO. 1577 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, AMENDING THE 1990 BUDGET, ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 1552, TO TRANSFER A PORTION OF ESTIMATED ENDING FUND BALANCES AND WORKING CAPITAL FROM THE STREET AND SEWER FUNDS TO THE EQUIPMENT RENTAL FUND FOR HEAVY EQUIPMENT; AND TRANSFERRING A PORTION OF THE ARTERIAL STREET AND ACCEPTING STATE TIB FUNDS FOR CERTAIN CAPITAL ROAD PROJECT EXPENDITURES AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City requires additional street equipment for the newly annexed Cascade View area, and WHEREAS, the City desires to have a jet -vac truck that meets road standards, and WHEREAS, the City desires to increase the scope of the Interurban (42nd -52nd) design with the aid of State TIB funding, and WHEREAS, the City desires to add two additional projects and add additional funding to two existing arterial street projects. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWH A, WASHINGTON, DO HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Ordinance No. 1552, passed by the City Council on December 18, 1989, is hereby amended by revising the summary of totals of estimated revenues and appropriations and the aggregate total to reflect the foregoing increases in revenues and appropriations as set forth in Section 1 of this ordinance. Section 3. The Finance Director is hereby authorized and instructed to effectuate the necessary changes in the 1990 budget and to make all necessary and appropriate line item entries and adjustments in order to reflect the increases to revenues and appropriations as set forth in this ordinance. Section 4. This ordinance or a summary thereof shall be published in the official newspaper of the City, and shall take effect and be in full force five (5) days after passage and publication as provided by law.
