ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TU KWH A,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING THE 1990 BUDGET,
ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 1552, TO TRANSFER A
PORTION OF ESTIMATED ENDING FUND BALANCES
BETWEEN THE LOCAL IMPROVEMENT GUARANTEE
AND GENERAL FUNDS, AND RESIDUAL EQUITY
TRANSFERS -IN/OUT BETWEEN THE LOCAL
IMPROVEMENT GUARANTEE, FACILITIES
REPLACEMENT, AND SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS FUNDS;
AND TO INCREASE CONTRIBUTIONS PRIVATE
SOURCES REVENUE AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
EXPENDITURES IN THE GENERAL FUND AND
ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Local Improvement Guarantee Fund has excess funds which exceed
the limit per Internal Revenue Code of 1986, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to provide additional funding for contingencies
in the General Fund and additional funding for the Facilities Replacement Fund, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to provide SEPA review under City auspices.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DO HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The following program categories in the 1990 budget, as adopted by
Ordinance No. 1552, passed by the City Council on December 18, 1989, are hereby
amended to read as follows:
REVENUES

Section 2. Ordinance No. 1552, passed by the City Council on December 18, 1989, is
hereby amended by revising the summary of totals of estimated revenues and
appropriations and the aggregate total to reflect the foregoing increases in revenues and
appropriations as set forth in Section 1 of this ordinance.
Section 3. The Finance Director is hereby authorized and instructed to effectuate
the necessary changes in the 1990 budget and to make all necessary and appropriate line
item entries and adjustments in order to reflect the increases to revenues and
appropriations as set forth in this ordinance.
Section 4. This ordinance or a summary thereof shall be published in the official
newspaper of the City, and shall take effect and be in full force five (5) days after passage
and publication as provided by law.
