ORDINANCE NO. /5 -3
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1542, BY
ADDING "TWILIGHT GREENS FEE" AT FOSTER GOLF LINKS.
WHEREAS, an existing greens fees schedule established fees for 9- and 18 -hole play at
Foster Golf Links, and
WHEREAS, the existing greens fees schedule does not accommodate charging a fee for
less than 9 holes of play, and
WHEREAS, golf players often would like to play less than 9 holes in the twilight
hours of the day, and
WHEREAS, better scheduling and control of golfers would result if all players are
scheduled through the pro shop, and
WHEREAS, it is better public relations to charge a reasonable rate than to turn golfers
away,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHING-
TON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 1542 shall be amended by adding the following section:
Section 7. Effective 12:01 a.m., March 1, 1990, the following greens fee is
established for play at Foster Golf Links:
For all resident and non resident golfers a "Twilight Fee" of $3.00 shall be
charged for any amount of play of less than 9 holes starting 45 minutes or less
before the sunset time (Seattle) for that day.
Section 2. Effective Date. This ordinance or a summary thereof shall be published in
the official newspaper of the City, and shall take effect and be in full force five (5) days after
passage and publication, as provided by law.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, at a
regular meeting thereof this day of 1111' ,1990.
